How do I use Pool table diamonds?
I've found several poorly written summaries on the internet on how to use pool table diamonds.
Mostly I get non-helpful "obvious" answers like:
"It's about angles" < duh!, and?
or
"With practice you'll figure it out" < uh, no...I didn't !
So, is there anyone out there that can give me the real truth BEYOND the obvious about angles and practice, blah blah blah.
How do I use the angles in relation to my cues stick, the ball I want to sink, and the pockets???

There are many "Diamond systems" out there. You may want to check out Robert Byrne's books. Also for general pool physics, I would suggest the site below. Tons of articles on everything from basic aiming and tangent lines, to more advances stuff, including some videos.
